Satellite Mine is a Transcendent grade grenade in Counter-Strike Online.

- This item is obtainable from Transcendence Decoder.
A special mine armed with cutting-edge satellite technology. It can either seek nearby enemies on its own or be manually detonated. When activated, it creates an area that hinders enemy movement, then calls down a laser bombardment that only harms enemies after a short delay.

- Left-click to place the mine.
- Right-click to send the mine detonation signal.
Advantages[]
- Extreme damage, all enemies in damage area will be killed (very low chance to survive)
- When activated, greatly slows down zombies, almost chain them to the ground
- When activated, damaging zombies periodically until the main strike
- Enough radius to catch up many zombies in this trap and wipe them out
- Becomes invisible to enemy vision
Disadvantages[]
- Enemy can survive if using invulnerability skill
- Doesn't kill instantly, enemy can run out from the target area and survive
- After deploying, doesn't turn invisible
- Big size of mine
- Skilled players can easily avoid the mine or even specially activate the mine to broke it
- Low ammunition (2 units)
- Doesn't kill instantly
- Very high Zombie Z unlock level
- Quite expensive in matches for a grenade-type weapon

- This item acts nearly similar as Satchel Charge from Half-Life and Claymore Mine MDS.
- The visual effects are quite similar with GS-2 beacon from Command and Conquer Renegade.
- There is a cut placing animation which is shown in store preview, it was clearly stated as unneccessary as you can place the mine anywhere upon throwing.
