Psycho zombie appears as an AI-controlled zombie in Zombie Scenario but becomes a playable zombie in Zombie: The Mutation, Zombie: The Hero and Zombie: The Union.

Overview

He was a biotechnologist who participated in experiments with Dr. Rex. During the experiment, it became a zombie by accident and is called 'Psycho type'. It has a technique to reduce the damage suffered by the surrounding zombies by fogging.

Advantages

• Can pop out black smoke, allowing for concealment.
• Can heal itself
• Regenerates health when the smoke disappears

Disadvantages

• Due to Psycho zombie's model, it is easier to shoot it on the head

Abilities

Icon	Name	Description
	Smokescreen	Creates a curtain four times in 1.5 second increments at the player position. Zombies inside the tabernacle receive 75% less damage. Obtain bonus points in proportion to reduced damage.
	Reproduce	Restores 2,000 / 3,000 / 5,000 health points. The amount of recovery increases as the evolutionary stage increases, and the maximum amount of physical power can not be exceeded.

Trivia

• Despite becoming a Host Psycho Zombie, the hand viewmodel in first person view will still remain to be the hand of a normal zombie instead of a hook, which can be seen in a third person view of the Host Psycho Zombie model.
• Due to the censorship of violence in the China region, altered Psycho Zombie models are used to replace the gruesome models of the original Regular zombies. This model has a red palette (see the select icon above) to differentiate it from the proper Psycho zombies.
