Andre or Hero is a non-playable character in Zombie Scenario but appears as a playable character in Zombie: The Hero.
History
There was not much information about him that the players could gain from Counter-Strike Online. It is stated that he was a SAS soldier commander. He was also leading his team to re-invade the Lost City after the zombie invasion incident. After a bitter fight, he and most of his teammates were killed by the zombies in Last Clue. He left a note (eventually being found by the players) in the chapter Trap. Thus, he was the person who revealed the mastermind behind the incident. Andre designed the SVDEX and uses it in Zombie: The Hero.
Zombie: Hero

After 20 seconds of a round, a player will be chosen as the hero. The choose process is random. Sometimes, no player will become the hero and sometimes, more than one player will become the hero. Hero is equipped with SVDEX and Dual Desert Eagle. His weapons cannot be dropped even with Deimos's [Shock] ability.
SVDEX is the modified version of SVD that has a very high firepower. Moreover, it is installed with an M203 grenade launcher as secondary fire.
When a host zombie infects the hero, the zombie will evolve to origin zombie instantly.
Andre's Diary

The third clue out of four. A bloodstained handwritten note by Andre, the advance unit commander, just before his death which shows a map that could serve as a vital clue in the later stages.
