Trivia
- This weapon is the first semi-automatic rifle in Counter-Strike Online. This is also the first weapon which cannot be reloaded with spare clips in the chamber, it has to be fully depleted in order to do so.
- This is the third weapon which has a sling attached after Lightning AR-1 and Mosin-Nagant.
- The M1 Garand was once planned to be able to aim down sights as its alternate fire mode. This feature was however, cut from the rifle, yet animations for transition into aiming down the iron sights, shooting and ejecting the en-bloc clip remains in the model files.
- M1 Garand was going to be the first in-game rifle to ever be able to aim down the sights, but it was then replaced by the RPG-7.
