Medals are achievement systems for the players of Counter-Strike Online.

The medals can be used before a player's name. Example: [No longer a noob] PlayerName.

You can set your medal by clicking on your statistics which is on top left and clicking 'Medals' followed by clicking the medal of your choice.

When a player has reached a certain amount of honour points, his/her title color will change, like shown below:

0-95 = Light Orange [Elite Clan Member]
100-245 = Green [Elite Clan Member]
250-495 = Blue [Elite Clan Member]
500-995 = Purple [Elite Clan Member]
1000-1500 = Red [Elite Clan Member]
1500-1999 = Strong Red [Elite Clan Member]
2000-2499 = Magenta [Elite Clan Member]
2500-2999 = Dark Violet [Elite Clan Member]
3000-3499 = Aquamarine [Elite Clan Member]

Since November 12, 2020 Update in South Korea, the title color requeriments changed and the requeriment for Magenta changed from 1500 to 2000:

Medal Reform Update (Old)

Medal is reformed in later updates with new images.

With this update, players could choose five medals to be shown in a medal strip. The medal strip can be seen by other players when they highlight the player's name while in a game lobby. The color of the player's medal strip will change depending on the player's accumulated honor points.

Taiwan/Hong Kong: 5 November 2013.
China/Japan: 6 November 2013.
Singapore/Malaysia: 4 December 2013.

Trivia

Achieving all medals with honor points will total over 2700 honor points.
In Counter Strike Nexon: Studio, almost all medals are also linked to Steam Achivements
- ~~However, perfect Steam Achivement competation for this game is impoissible due to the Metal Arena and some Family medals due to depending in unreleased modes in that region.~~ This has been patched in 24 January 2024 update - Metal Arena and unobtainable Family medals have been removed from the Steam Achievement list as well from the game itself (medals do not show up in the Medal section). Furthermore, several discontinued medal Achievements (i.e. Bazooka Battle, Hidden Mode etc) were automatically given to all players who logged in after the update.
- Also Since November 2020's Medal system revamp, medals with two or more stages required to have all stages completed to count for steam achivement as well
- In 24 January 2024 patch almost all of the added medals were linked to Steam Achievement system as well.
In Singapore/Malaysia region, there was a bug where some players earned extra honor for [Firefighter] and [Perfectionist].

There was a bug in the medal strip where players can set the same medal icons to be shown. See here. As the medal strip was removed this bug is not actual anymore.
