H&K XM8 (Heckler & Koch eXperimental Model 8) is an American assault rifle available in Counter-Strike Online exclusive to the Terrorists.
Overview
XM8 is a free assault rifle for the Terrorists. It does moderate damage and has the ability to zoom. Through an upgrade event, It can be upgraded to XM8 Limited edition. It can be switched to XM8 Sharpshooter in the middle of the battle, which is a semi automatic sniper rifle. XM8 Carbine's Counter-Terrorist counterpart is the FN SCAR L.

Tactics
- Aim for head, as it takes only a shot to perform a HEADSHOT.
- Use the scope when the crosshair has spread. The crosshair will go back to normal.

- The XM8 is an experimental weapon built by Heckler & Koch. It was tested by the US Army but it was rejected from service. The XM8 was only in service with the Malaysian Navy or used by some PMC.
- This weapon can also have a drum magazine.
